QUETTA: Chief Minister Jam Kamal on Sunday said the provincial government led by the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) was making efforts to activate the government machinery at the district level for improving the education, health and other sectors.

Talking to newsmen at Governor House, he said Balochistan was moving towards progress and for speedy development all stakeholders should work jointly.

Kamal said, “Both the federal and provincial governments are working together for the development of Balochistan.”

He said that the health department had appointed doctors at district level to provide speedy relief to the people. The chief minister dispelled the impression that the government was not releasing development funds, saying that there was no delay on the part of the government and it was releasing funds for the ongoing and new development schemes.
“The ground realties are different than political statements,” he said, adding that the government had evolved a strategy for comprehensive development, which would be implemented soon.
