Infrastructure Development: World Bank to fund projects in Karachi

KARACHI: The World Bank is preparing a policy to fund infrastructure development projects in Karachi, according to a City District Government Karachi press release issued on Monday. The bank’s senior infrastructure officer for Europe and Central Asia, Seema Mangi, met the Karachi administrator, Fazlur Rehman, to discuss projects that have been done so far. Work on several mega projects, including the S-3 and K-IV water systems, will take place.
