IR students visit embassies in Islamabad 

The delegation also meets South Korean Ambassador Kwak Sung-Kyu

PESHAWAR: A students’ delegation of the University of Peshawar, Department of International Relations, under the supervision of Prof Nasreen Ghufran and Dr Khurshid was led for a three days study tour to various embassies and Parliament House in Islamabad. The delegation met South Korean Ambassador Kwak Sung-Kyu. The students were breifed about South Korean culture, politics, economy and foreign policy. Ambassador Kwak agreed to visit the university to meet the students and administration. Next day the delegation visited the Embassy of Russian Federation and had a detailed discussion on relations between Pakistan and Russia. Diplomatic officials showed interest to teach Russian language, culture and history in UoP. On third day of the tour the team made for Turkish embassy. Ambassador Mustafa Yardakul interacted with the students and talked about commonalities between the people of the two countries. He agreed to visit UoP. The delegation was taken to the Parliament House also.
