Kamal issues instructions to submit report of incident

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Jam Kamal Khan along with other provincial ministers strongly condemned the attack on personnel of Levies Force in the Sanjavi area of Ziarat district on Wednesday which left six personnel martyred.

“We are proud of the Levies personnel who were martyred while performing their duty at the Lal Katai check post near Sanjavi area,” said the chief minister.

He added such cowardly attack would not weaken the morale of security forces and they will continue playing their vital role to curb terrorist activities, despite the fact that many personnel have embraced martyrdom in the war against terrorism.

“All security forces including Levies Force, police, Frontier Corps and Pakistan Army are fighting against terrorism with bravery and courage for stability of the country including Balochistan,” said Kamal.

He expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of Levies personnel and directed Home department and local administration to immediately take all possible action against suspects for bringing them to justice and to ensure protection of citizens in the area.

The chief minister has also issued instructions to submit report of Sanjavi incident.

CM condemns attack on FC personnel


Talking to APP, Provincial Minister for Public Health Engineering (PHE) Haji Noor Muhammad Dummar said measures would be taken to end nefarious design of terrorist from province.

He also condemned the tragedy of Sanjavi and expressed sorrow over martyrdom of security forces personnel.

Member of provincial Assembly (MPA) Sardar Israr Khan Treen and Adviser to Chief Minister Balochistan for Livestock Haji Mitha Khan condemned the attack on personnel in Sanjavi, adding the provincial government would provide compensation to families of the martyred personnel.

Meanwhile, the provincial spokesperson of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Balochistan Babar Yousafzai has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Levies check post in Sanjavi.

According to a press release issued here, he said the peace process in the province could not be deteriorated with such coward actions adding the security forces have rendered tremendous sacrifices for restoration of peace in the province.

“The entire nation is proud of martyred Levies personnel who shed their blood for peaceful Balochistan,” said Yousufzai adding that such incidents could not dispirit the morale of our security forces.

He said the PTI government is taking every possible step to root out the menace of terrorism from the province.  The whole nation is united in the fight against terrorism, he added. "We are standing with the bereaved families of the martyrs in this hour of distress", he concluded.
