Anti-corruption officials submit report confirming transfer of private agricultural land on fake names

KARACHI: Anti-corruption officials submitted a report in court on Wednesday regarding the illegal allotment of hundreds of acres of land in Khakhar Hala in Thatta district. The report confirmed the transfer of private agricultural land on fake names.

It named an employee of the Sindh Revenue Board (SRB), Rafeeq Khaskheli, who transferred private agricultural land to his name through forgery.

According to the report, the forgery was carried out by burning records after the assassination of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.

The actual owner of this agricultural land is Khair Bakhsh Jhokio.
