Murray relishes Queen’s after Paris pain

LONDON: Andy Murray admits he cannot wait to get back to the Queen’s Club as he looks to erase his Paris pain by successfully defending his title at the pre-Wimbledon warm-up event.

World number four Murray, who last year became the first Briton to win at Queen’s since 1938, crashed out of the French Open in the fourth round against Tomas Berdych. But he has a perfect opportunity to get back on track in the familiar surroundings of Queen’s when the grass-court tournament gets underway today.

“I look forward to it,” said Murray. “It’s obviously a great tournament, it’s got great history and to have won last year was awesome. I’ll just go back there and try and win again this year and give it my best shot.”
