PESHAWAR: With the provincial government completing six months in power, the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) chief minister has directed all administrative secretaries to initiate monthly performance reviews of their respective departments.

The administrative secretaries have been asked to propose a set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) or metrics which will be used to measure departmental performance under a performance scorecard.

These metrics will first be cleared with Chief Minister Mahmood Khan in a meeting.

Among the indicators suggested is how the department worked over the review period to benefit the public of the province. To ensure that the reports are substantive, officials have been directed to include those figures which are based on facts and or can be tangibly substantiated.
