Five people killed in separate incidents

QUETTA: At least five people were killed and three others injured in different incidents across the province on Saturday.  Two people were killed and three others, including women, sustained serious injuries, after collision between two vehicles on main highway near Khad-kocha area of Mastung.

Rescuers rushed to site and shifted bodies and injured to a nearby hospital.

In another incident, a man and his son were killed by unidentified armed men in Kanjhar area of Khuzdar district. According to local administration, the man identified as Saeed Ahmed Khundrani with his son were standing outside their house when unidentified armed men opened fire at them.

The bodies were handed over to heirs after completion of medico-legal formalities.

Moreover, a man named as Abdul Wali was killed by unidentified people in Teachers Colony area of Pishin town. The local administration registered a case, while further investigations were under way.

Meanwhile, the city police found a body of man dumped at an open area on Qambarani Road near Sariab area of Quetta. Later, the body was shifted to Civil Hospital's morgue for identification. Police have registered a case.
