RAWALPINDI: Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) Fine Arts students put up an impressive show of their skills at Art Exhibition 2019.

The display of artworks of Fine Arts students emanated creativity and innovation.

FJWU Vice Chancellor Dr Samina Amin Qadir said such exhibitions fostered creativity. She showed her interest in most of paintings and other art works displayed at the exhibition. She appreciated efforts of the students adding that the work of the students was remarkable and the outlook was unique and diverse.

The university aimed at providing its students the market oriented skills through practical work besides the theoretical part of any course, she added.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Maliha Jamal also attended the exhibition. The VC thanked the ADC for visiting FJWU and encouraging the students.

In the exhibition, over 66 students of Master and Bachelor Programmes took part to prove their flair and diverse artistic approach. Art pieces in different disciplines including textile design, print making, oil painting, graphic designing, miniature painting and photography were displayed.

The art work displayed in the exhibition was very distinctive and full of expressions as the young artistic souls tried to translate their emotions and ideas through their fabulous work.
