HFH ward renovations likely to be completed by April

Renovation work on the Gynecology, Pediatric and Emergency wards at the Holy Family Hospital (HFH) are expected to be completed by the end of March with 80 per cent work on the project has been completed. This was stated by HFH Medical Superintendent Dr Nasir Mehmood on Friday. Talking to APP, he said that Prime Minister Imran Khan during his visit to HFH earlier in the year had expressed dissatisfaction over poor cleanliness, lack of medicines and overburdening in the gynaecology ward. Dr Mehmood said that renovation work was being conducted at a cost of Rs4 million. He said that the number of beds was also being increased in gynae and pediatric wards in order to facilitate the number of patients visiting the hospital. “As many as 100 beds will be available through the new arrangements, and the remaining departments will get more facilities in the coming days,” he added.
