ISLAMABAD:

A court on Monday directed Golra Police station in-charge to submit the detailed report in an incest case. Razia Bibi*, the victim, had filed an application with the Golra police seeking registration of First Information Report (FIR) against her father for incest.

Additional Sessions Judge Rifat Sultan Sheikh directed Golra SHO Qasim Niazi to submit the report of the incident by June 29. The court also directed the police to submit the medial report on the next date of hearing.

Razia Bibi, 18, had alleged that her father Tauqeer Shah* raped her. She maintained in her application that her father also tried to murder her after she narrated her story to her sister.

She contended that the Golra police have only registered a case of attempted murder, but were reluctant to lodge an FIR of incest under the Hudood law.

Her lawyer had earlier said that a medical test has been conducted, but the result is not being revealed by the police. The rape victim disclosed her ordeal in a signed statement addressed to the Golra police, accusing her father of raping her for three days, after which she informed her older sister of the incident.
