Difficulties faced by traders on both sides discussed

QUETTA: Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s delegation led by President Jumma Khan Bazai met Afghan diplomat Atif Mashal at the Afghan Consulate in Quetta on Wednesday and discussed trade issues.

During the meeting the QCCI delegation discussed difficulties faced by traders on both sides. QCCI senior vice president Salahudding Khilji, Abdullah Achakzai, Haji Foojan, Haji Akhtar Kakar, Abdul Wahab and Haji Karam were a part of delegation.

Afghan Consul General in Quetta Waheedullah Mohmand was also present at this occasion. Mashal assured the Afgan government is taking initiative to promote trade with Pakistan.

“Pakistan and Afghanistan are both Islamic countries,” he said adding both countries have historic relationship culturally and historically.

The diplomat added the Afghan government would make this relationship stronger through promotion of trade between the two countries.
