Pindi residents decry decrepit state of Rashid Minhas Road

Officials say soon the repair work on the road would commence facilitating the motorists

RAWALPINDI: Rashid Minhas Road is in dilapidated condition. The road needs the authorities' attention for early repair. It is full of ditches and the area also Marir Hassan Road is in poor condition along and is likely to cause fatal accidents if drivers are not careful.

Great is rush witnessed on the road as hundreds of vehicles particularly coming from Saddar and Murree Road face multiple problems due to the road’s dilapidated condition.

Shakeel Malik, a local from Marir Hassan said during the rainy season, driving becomes almost impossible as the poor and miserable condition of the road multiplies the miseries of the motorists.

When contacted Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) spokesman Hafiz Muhammad Irfan said that soon the repair work on the road would commence to facilitate the motorists.
