Promoting industrial sector will create jobs: CM

Punjab CM says govt is taking concrete steps to provide investors and industrialists with facilities

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said that promoting the industrial sector will create new opportunities for employment while also strengthening our economy. He expressed these views while speaking to a delegation of industrialists who called on him at his office on Sunday.

The minister said that promoting the industrial sector and its acceleration is our prime objective and steps are being taken in this regard.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) government is taking concrete steps to provide every facility to investors and industrialists to extend their businesses, he maintained. No one will be allowed to hinder economic activities, he expressed.

The chief minister said that developing the industrial sector on a robust basis is an inevitable step in becoming independent. Developing the industry and providing investors with facilities is the basic pillar of our economic plan, he added.

Further, the government has also announced the establishment of special economic zones for promoting the industrial sector. In addition, old industrial states will also be developed and investors will be provided with all resources without any delay to set up new industries, he said.

The chief minister said that the government is taking revolutionary steps to promote small industries and that it will also foster an industrial-friendly environment. Nothing will be allowed to hinder the development of the industrial sector, he concluded.
