NAB arrests housing society owner

General warrants had been issued for two partners

QUETTA: A team of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan arrested one of the owners of a private housing society in a raid on the society’s office on Saturday.

A spokesperson for the accountability watchdog said that the NAB Balochistan director general had issued warrants for two partners of the housing scheme, following which a team led by a senior officer carried out the raid. He also disclosed that the other owner of the society had managed to escape during the raid.

The spokesperson said that NAB Balochistan had initiated an inquiry about the housing society on complaints lodged by numerous affected people, adding that the other suspect would also be taken into custody soon.
