Doctors to get raises with other provinces: Raisani

Chief Minister says increments will come when other provinces raise salaries of doctors.

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Aslam Raisani has said doctors in Balochistan will get salary increments when other provinces also increase doctors’ salaries, Express 24/7 reported on Monday.

Speaking to the media after the groundbreaking ceremony of Benazir Bhutto Hospital in Quetta, Raisani said that the doctors had been officially informed of the increment decision.

He said that the issue of dismissed doctors will be discussed when they end the strike.

The doctors are on an indefinitely long strike for the past two months paralysing healthcare in the entire province. Emergency treatment of serious patients has also been stopped.
