Pakistan Railways purchases goods worth Rs3m for double the price
A document released on Monday revealed that Pakistan Railways purchased items worth Rs3 million rupees at double the price.
According to the railway document, 30,000 tube rods were bought for RS118 each, while the price of each tube rod is not more than Rs65.

Minister blames govt
The Minister for Railways Ghulam Bilour accused the government of ignoring the public transportation system.
Bilour said that the Pakistan railways’ deficit needs to be reduced -- or more trains could stop commuting.
He attributed the main reason for the deficit to faulty engines.
He further elaborated that the cabinet had approved Rs11.5 billion for Pakistan Railways, but added that not a single penny had been received.
