Minister blames govt
The Minister for Railways Ghulam Bilour accused the government of ignoring the public transportation system.
Bilour said that the Pakistan railways’ deficit needs to be reduced -- or more trains could stop commuting.
He attributed the main reason for the deficit to faulty engines.
He further elaborated that the cabinet had approved Rs11.5 billion for Pakistan Railways, but added that not a single penny had been received.
