Levies Force on Wednesday foiled a bid to smuggle narcotics to Hub and arrested a man with 80kg hashish.
Addressing a press conference, Assistant Commissioner Bela Jamel Ahmed Baloch said that acting on a tip off, levies intercepted a car at Warayo check post and found cache of high quality hashish hidden in various parts of the vehicle.
The assistant commissioner said, “The value of drug is believed to be in millions and a case has been lodged against the accused, Nasar-ud-Din,” adding that “levies is utilizing all-out efforts to curb smuggling of all types of illegal items including narcotics”.
