The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing said suspect Naseer Shah, who added Mahwish on Facebook, began editing videos and photos of her when she refused his marriage proposal, Express News reported on Saturday.
The 'victim' lodged a complaint with the FIA authorities, who discovered he was returning to Lahore from Greece.
He was taken into custody at the Allama Iqbal International Airport, and 'inappropriate' videos and pictures of Mahwish were recovered from his possession.
“She said she would marry me and took Rs0.3 million from me," Shah was quoted as saying by the FIA, adding that Mahwish demanded more money.
According to the FIA, the suspect had been living in Greece illegally.
