PESCO replacing old cables with insulated ones

It will complete the processes in and around Peshawar soon

PESHAWAR: Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) will complete replacing of old electricity cables with aerial bundled cables (ABC) in and around Peshawar.

Pesco and the National Transmission and Dispatch Company (NTDC) have started the replacement of all obsolete electric supply cables with ABC and will complete the processes in and around Peshawar soon.

This was informed in a high level meeting regarding problems and issues in electricity supply in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa co-presided over by the Chief Minister Mahmood Khan with Federal Minister Umar Ayub Khan in Islamabad Friday evening.

Federal Minster Murad Saeed, Finance Minister KP Taimur Salim Jahgra and Senator Fida Hussain, the Chief Executives of PESCO, TESCO, MD NTDC and heads of the construction departments of these companies ware also present.
