Development: Politicians oversee the city’s cleanup

KARACHI: The provincial minister for information and technology, Raza Haroon, and Awami National Party (ANP) leader Bashir Jan visited Banaras Chowk on Saturday along with Karachi administrator Fazlur Rehman. Haroon inspected development works carried out at Banaras Chowk. He said the campaign was meant to make the city look beautiful while clearing up issues like sewerage overflow problems. The ongoing campaign includes the removal of banners, flags and posters all over the city. ANP leader Bashir Jan stressed the need to speed up development work including the Banaras Chowk Flyover.
