Mayor inaugurates Arabian Park

In the efforts initiated by the IMC to beautify the capital

ISLAMABAD: The efforts initiated by the Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation (IMC) to beautify the city are bearing fruit now, said Mayor Anser Aziz while inaugurating the Arabian Park at Lohi Bher on Saturday.

The corporation was open to public suggestion for improving the playgrounds, green areas and landscape of the capital, he said at the opening of the park in union council Lohi Bher adjacent to Islamabad Expressway.

On this occasion, Lohi Bher Union Council Chairman and other members of IMC and management of the private sector organisation were also present.

Aziz said that IMC, through advertisements in newspapers, had sought suggestions for upgrading different playgrounds, beautification of green belts and uplift of different roundabouts of the city to provide improved facilities to its residents.

He said that IMC has received very encouraging and positive response from many organizations particularly from multinational companies.

Due to which, parks, different playgrounds and green belts are being upgraded which have considerably added to the beauty of the city.
