House-Listing Census: People reject the census, Nationalists
According to the leaders, certain forces are conspiring to convert the Sindhi nation into a minority group

The house-listing census, recently conducted by the Sindh government, was rejected by nationalist leaders on Wednesday. “The people have rejected the census,” said the head of the Sindh Census Committee and Sindh United Party (SUP) chief, Jalal Mehmood Shah. According to the leaders, certain forces are conspiring to convert the Sindhi nation into a minority group and “the government is playing into the hands of these forces”. The Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz chairperson, Bashir Khan Qureshi, Awami Tehreek’s Qadir Ranto, Shah Muhammad Shah, Arbab Anwar and Dr Niaz Kalani addressed the meeting.
