The tremors of moderate intensity earthquake were felt in the areas of Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) and Azad Kashmir late Tuesday night.

Earthquake jolts parts of K-P including Peshawar

The tremors were also felt in Islamabad. The tremors spread fear among residents with the quake's magnitude being measured in at 5.6 on the richter scale.

The quake's epicentre was in India which could be felt in Peshawar, Abbottabad, Rawalpindi, Nowshera, Mardan, Muzaffarabad, Balakot, Haripur, Mansehra, Raiwind and Taxila.Experts say the quake's epicentre was in India.
