PESHAWAR: The claim of opening up gates of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor House for general public still awaits its true implementation.

Instead of opening the premises to the people, the government has put tickets on entry for a tour of the relic of British Raj.

Lately, the governor house was rented to a private company for its event.

The PTI government had claimed to open up the Governor House for public, instead its premises have been rented for a programme of a private company.

The company not only held its event but also promoted with banners stating ticket price tags of Rs1,500.
