It all started with a simple tweet...

A couple of days ago, actor Fahad Mustafa took to social media to share his opinions on some of the ‘content’ that is being created in the form of web series “Nudity, abusive language and just talking about sex is not content. Let’s not call it freedom of speech!” He began. “Actors selling themselves very cheaply is not cool at all. Web series and short films needs to be a little dignified or they should just call it porn…” he had written.

While he didn't disclose who his comment was aimed at, many of his followers thought he was speaking of Sacred Games. His Load Wedding co-star, on the other hand, thought he was taking a jab at her latest release, Enaaya.

"It is really sad that some people are passing judgments on Enaaya without having watching the complete season. There is so much more to the show than those two dialogues which are not only a realistic portrayal of todays’s youth culture but appropriate to the context of the scene. Let’s grow up and accept that a few words are not going to corrupt the nation ! Thankyou, next," she wrote on an Instagram post.

However, it seems like there's been a misunderstanding on her part. Apparently, Fahad wasn't speaking about Mehwish's show at all. "I love you Wajahat Rauf and you know it. My tweet was about foreign content and not yours. People are just trying to create an issue out of nothing... Best of luck for your upcoming film and what ever you do in future my friend," he tweeted, clearing the air.

Following this, the writer, director also took to his social media to set the record straight once and for all. "I thought I'd clarify a point regarding my web series as sometimes silence is not golden," he began. "There are like four bad words in the entire season of 12 episodes. That too in a fight."

Wajahat continued, "And for God's sake, there are no sex scenes or even a single references to it. Please feel free to voice your opinion after watching the entire season, not the other way around... but it's a free world. The good thing is that the overall response has been great on both sides of the border and hence 90%positive reviews."

He concluded his post with, "And lastly, thank you Fahad Mustafa for putting out the fire before it spread with your gracious comment. Referring to your second tweet. You are a big star and an even bigger person."
