Reema Khan claims fellow female actor tried to poison her

'A lady was offered Rs100,000 to poison me,' the veteran star said

Pakistan Film industry’s renowned star, Reema Khan, has alleged that a fellow female Pakistani actor attempted to murder her by poisoning, reported Express News. 

In an interview with a private channel, the Love Mein Gum star revealed that while she was successfully at the peak of her career, she also faced difficulties.

In fact, she had to go through some difficult times due to her counterparts.

“Many a times I experienced character assassination,” she said.

Reema shared that there were arson attempts at her home. “I had not lodged any police complaint when attempts to poison me were made during the shooting of a commercial with Asif Raza Mir. A lady was offered Rs100,000 to poison me but somehow she refused to carry out the deed,” said the actor.

The star further revealed that she was stopped from working on several projects and many scandals were created through various means.

Reema, who ruled the Pakistani film industry for a long time, moved to the US post marriage. However, she is currently residing in Pakistan.
