OKARA: A woman allegedly murdered her husband to marry another man in Okara on Friday.

Police told Express News that the accused woman had tied the knot with 30-year-old Siddiq Sheikh, a resident of Sher Garh, a few years ago.

However, after some time, she allegedly established relations with another man from the area. As the woman wanted to marry him, she decided to murder her husband.

On the day of the incident, Siddiq was sleeping in his room when Sughra Bibi and her alleged paramour Ghulam Rasul strangled him to death.

Meanwhile, Siddiq’s relatives had suspicion over his sudden death, and informed the police of the matter.
