Bollywood starlet Kangana Ranaut is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi on January 25, 2019.
However, not only does the film see the actor in a very powerful role, it also marks her directorial debut. In a recent interview, the Queen star opened up about her work in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, filling in for the director and upcoming projects, reported Pinkvilla.
Director Anand L Rai and Ranaut go way back, as the two have worked together on the Tanu Weds Manu franchise. So it's only natural that the Simran actor would have watched his latest release, Zero.
When asked about it, Ranaut said she'd been too busy with Manikarnika and so, was unable to attend any screenings. "But Aanand jee is coming for a show of our film.'
And that's not all. The starlet went on to share that the two will be coming together soon for the announcement of Tanu Weds Manu 3!
Biopics of 2019: Acid attack survivors, warrior queens and sportswomen
The first two installments of the super hit franchise were loved by audiences and critics alike and we have no doubt about the fact that the third one will also impress. Can't wait to see Tanu light up the screen in it.
