Gas pressure problem in Quetta, nearby areas to be solved by June: SSGCL

Sharing the measures to improve gas pressure in Quetta, they said, the Quetta Pipeline Capacity Enhancement Project has been completed that enhanced the overall pipeline capacity from 149 million cubic feet per day (MMCFD) to 200 MMCFD for gas supply to Quetta and its surrounding areas.
The sources said installation of a new compressor unit of 200 MMCFD capacity at Sibi headquarters and installation of one standby compressor unit at Shikarpur headquarters would increase the pipeline capacity from 200 MMCFD to 226 MMCFD.
