MPA’s family robbed at gun point
Armed assailants loot valuables from his family
KARACHI:
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA Khurram Sher Zaman’s family was robbed at gunpoint in Clifton on Monday night. While talking to the media, Zaman said robbers riding a motorcycle stopped and looted valuables from his family at gunpoint. Expressing his concern about street crimes, he said it was a serious matter and the elements involved in such activities must be handled with iron hands. A similar incident took place on January 10 when unidentified armed men riding a motorcycle intercepted former MQM-P’s MNA Khawaja Sohail Mansoor as he left a shopping centre near Bilawal House in his car. On January 8, some unidentified armed men attempted to stop former Sindh governor Muhammad Zubair in Defence Phase VI.
