Nadeem Afzal Chan appointed PM's spokesperson
The former PPP leader joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf last year
Prime Minister Imran Khan appointed on Tuesday party leader Nadeem Afzal Chan as his spokesperson.
“The Prime Minister has been pleased to appoint Mr Nadeem Afzal Gondal as Spokesman of the Prime Minister with immediate effect and until further orders in an honorary capacity," reads the notification issued by the Prime Minister's Office.
Once a senior member of Pakistan Peoples Party's Punjab chapter, Chan joined the PTI last year.
Chan quit the PPP after his brother left the party, saying he could not continue on 'moral grounds' as the party’s office-bearer.
The Chan brothers belong to well-known Gondal family of Mandi Bahauddin.
