RBISE results : 64% flunk supplementary exams

19,972 students appeared in examinations of whom 6,703 were successful while 13,091 failed

RAWALPINDI: At least 66.41% students failed in the Rawalpindi Board of Secondary and Intermediate Education FA and FSc supplementary examinations.

RBISE acting chairman Tanveer Zafar announcing the results at his office on Saturday said as many as 19,972 students appeared in examinations of whom 6,703 were successful while 13,091 failed and 474 students were recorded absent.

The passing ratio was said to be 33.56%. The students who have failed or taken comport could appear in the examinations in May. Zafar said that among the candidates 11,054 were females and 8,919 were males. At least 1,578 students appeared as regular and 18,394 as private candidates in the supplementary exams.

The results are available on board’s website and candidates can also find their results by texting their roll numbers. He said that the booty mafia has been abolished from the board and no case of cheating was reported. OnRBISEe window operation is also running successfully whereas the board record  also has been computerised.
