Two unidentified assailants fatally shot Naila Amjad

LAHORE: A civil court prosecutor was killed as two unidentified persons opened fire at him on Kassoki Road on Friday morning.

Police said the tragic incident occurred when Naila Amjad, a civil court prosecutor, was on her way to office. Sources said two unidentified motorcyclists opened fire.

She sustained two bullets in the head and died on the spot.

The body was shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Hafizabad, sources mentioned. Rescue sources said police reached the site of the crime and shifted the body to the hospital.

Lawyers and judicial officials were gathered in DHQ hospital and demanded for the immediate arrest of the assailants, sources said.
