CM’s adviser says comprehensive education plan being implemented to decrease backwardness

QUETTA: Adviser to the Balochistan Chief Minister on Education Muhammad Khan Lehri has said the entire cabinet is paying special attention to the problems of the people and the province in order to address them so that development activities could take place in the area.

He expressed these views in a meeting with various delegations, which called on him at his office, said a press release issued on Tuesday.

Raisani terms education key to peaceful society

He said a comprehensive plan of education is being implemented to decrease backwardness and promote quality education in educational institutions across the province.

“Science, information technology and modern research sectors are being given more importance to bring Balochistan at par with other provinces and tackle future challenges,” he informed. “Teachers will be imparted best training opportunities for enhancing their skills which will help to achieve main objectives of education in respective areas of the province.”

He maintained that regular attendance of teachers was important for uplifting standard of knowledge and in this regard the relevant department was also monitoring the attendance of teachers in respective areas.
