Police says the victim had come to follow a case hearing related to a love marriage

LAHORE: Unidentified men shot and injured a man near sessions court on Thursday. Police said the victim, identified as Muhammad Zahid, was parking his motorcycle near baba ground when unidentified men on a motorcycle opened fire at him. They added Zahid had come to follow a case hearing related to a love marriage. Police are looking into the case. Meanwhile, a 29-year-old man committed suicide by consuming poisonous pills at his house in Naseerabad Gopal Nagar on Thursday. His family told the police that he was depressed due to unemployment.
