PM Imran departs for Turkey on two-day official visit

Bilateral relations including current regional and international situation will be discussed

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday left for Turkey on a two-day official visit on the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The premier is scheduled to meet the Turkish president and will discuss bilateral relations between the two nations as well as the current regional and international situation.

During his stay in the Turkish capital, the prime minister will also address a business forum and hold several meetings with Turkish businessmen and potential investors.

The visit will help explore new avenues of cooperation and collaboration between Pakistan and Turkey, particularly in the areas of economic, trade and commercial relations.

The two countries enjoy close bilateral relations and cooperate in many fields, including defence.
