ISLAMABAD: Contrary to Federal Minister Faisal Vawda’s claim, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb has said he was never invited for participation in a Public Accounts Committee (PAC) meeting due to his negative behaviour.

The former information minister also advised Vawda to study the rules and regulations of the PAC in advance to avoid any embarrassment in the future.  “He should avoid using fake invitation letters to seek appreciation,” she said, adding the minister thought he was in trouble and did not realise it was the secretary who was called and not him.

Aurangzeb said Vawda won the elections by rigging and was unable to understand the difference between working in parliament and speeding a motorcycle through the streets of Karachi.

“It has become a practice of PTI to curse parliament and be part of it simultaneously,” she said adding, “When you do something against the honour of the parliament, you actually disgrace yourself”.
