First editorial meeting: PFA to publish magazine on mobile app, website
DG says magazine will help spread awareness about nutrition and food related issues

The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) in its first editorial board meeting has unanimously decided to publish PFA Magazine on mobile application and website.
PFA Director General (retd) Captain Muhammad Usman said that the decision was made to engage and target maximum audience in a short time by utilising digital technology. He said that magazine will help spread awareness about nutrition and food-related issues among people.
He went on to say that the new edition of the magazine will be published after every two months.
Usman said that PFA will cover all topics that are directly or indirectly related to the food industry and will keep in mind the taste of people of all age group. Initially, as many as 1,000 copies of its first edition will be published.
Usman said that PFA Magazine will play a vital role in spreading information about nutrition and delivering the message of PFA among the public. The participants of the board have appreciated the efforts of PFA and assured to support their projects and programmes in the future.
Lahore Arts Council Chairman Touqeer Nasir, prominent religious scholars Dr Raghib Hassan Naeemi, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Vice Chancellor Dr Talat Pasha, renowned cardiologist Dr Javaid Sabzwari also attended the meeting.
