Under the rubble: 1killed, 2 injured in roof collapses

GUJRANWALA: A seven-year-old girl died and two others were injured after the roof of their house caved in on Sunday. According to rescue officials, the incident occurred in the New Civil Lines colony, when the roof of labourer Muhammad Aslam’s house caved. Seven-year-old Fajr, five-year-old Isha and three-year-old Asr were trapped under the debris for several hours. Rescue 1122 officials immediately cleared the area and transported the children to the local hospital where Fajr passed away. Hospital officials said that Isha and Asr were both in critical condition.
