Homecoming 2018: Air University hosts alumni reunion

VC encourages alumni to explore CPEC opportunities for professional development

Air University Vice Chancellor Faaiz Amir has termed alumni reunions a gateway to reconnect graduates with their alma mater, to commemorate their wonderful past, to celebrate their present achievements and to strengthen professional networking for a bright future, said a press release issued here on Saturday.

He made these remarks while addressing the 'Air Alumni Homecoming 2018' ceremony as chief guest. On the occasion, it was also vowed to encourage around 5,000 alumni, who have graduated during the last 14 years, to play a proactive role under the platform of Air Alumni Network.

The vice chancellor expressed his gratitude to the alumnus and said, "It is an excellence opportunity for the university alumni to reconnect with many old friends and for bringing them back to campus for networking, communication and entertainment."


He highlighted the importance of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and said that the CPEC projects would have long-term impacts on overall economy of Pakistan in the near future. He urged the talented youth to explore emerging opportunities for professional development.

The vice chancellor also informed the alumni on the recent perspectives of the varsity and talked about future development plans. He hoped for long-lasting sustainable relations among the alumni and wished them every success in their professional lives.
