Results will be seen after my retirement, says chief justice

The chief justice on Saturday said that he has strived to serve the interests of the nation and its people tirelessly, reported Express News.

Addressing a convocation ceremony in Lahore, Justice Nisar said he had served with integrity and honesty. "Every day from 9 am to midnight, I've served in courts tirelessly," he said, adding that moral righteousness was his motto.

CJP to embark on fund-raising trip to Britain from Nov 20

"My test has begun and results will be seen after my retirement," the chief justice added.

In November, Justice Nisar visited Britain to raise funds for the construction of dams to address the country's water crisis. He attended a total of five fund-raising events in London and Manchester.

CJP vows to protect Pakistan’s water rights

Speaking at an event in Britain in November, the chief justice said that Pakistan is the fruit of great sacrifices rendered by past generations.

He further said the greatest sacrifice was given by Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who made the freedom of Pakistan the mission of his life and did not even care for his health while pursuing the goal.
