Addressing a news conference on Tuesday, he said the people were facing hardship since reposing trust in the PTI as the leading party in the elections.
Haq said the Transparency International had revealed in a report that 68% corruption was reported in the Balochistan works and services department and he had also seen a statement of the chief minister expressing dissatisfaction over his government’s performance.
“Balochistan should be given a major share in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor but local fishermen have been protesting for their rights and expressing concern over threats to their future after Chinese investment,” he said.
“Indian hostile agencies are interfering in Balochistan and fuelling terrorism against innocent people of the province. The arrest of Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav has proved India’s involvement in Balochistan,” Haq said.
Calling the missing persons issue most important for Balochistan, the JI leader said the province was vital for the country’s stability and this matter should be resolved on a priority basis,
“Today the courts are independent and those involved in any criminal activities must be brought to the court.”
Replying to a question, Haq said that not only Pashtuns but the Baloch and Sindhis were also demanding rights, adding that the internal issues of the country could not be resolved without unity.
