The K-P government has devised measures and made proposals for the turnaround of 26 departments in the document, which will be presented before Prime Minister Imran Khan during his visit to the provincial capital, they said sharing details of the roadmap with Daily Express.
The road map suggests increasing electricity production to 3,680 megawatt, provision of technical training to 30,000 women, construction of youth hostel in every district and formation of three new mega-parks in Peshawar.
Moreover, the roadmap seeks formation of seven schools for special training of police officers, initiation of hotline to determine progress of students and teachers, formation of legal-aid authority for free legal aid to people and formation of centres to curb violence against women.
The roadmap document was prepared by provincial government as part of the 100-day plan.

Healthcare
According to the five-year roadmap, 4,000 additional health workers will be appointed for dispensing quality medical facilities in rural areas besides launching rural ambulance service.
The public healthcare system will ensure providing special pre and postpartum care to mothers.
Within three years, it says, 120 secondary healthcare hospitals will be made functional for 24 hours. Moreover, in next one year, every district will have at least one 24-hour functional secondary healthcare hospital.
The document says that in next five years vaccination cover will be extended to 80 per cent children of K-P.
Agriculture
The roadmap directs to establishing smart markets to help increase profit of farmers by 15-20 per cent. The document proposes cutting sugarcane seed price by 95 per cent.
It suggests making 5,500 acre barren land arable, providing modern technology to livestock farmers, distributing million calves among 3,000 farmers and training them in better nutrition.
It proposes setting up 500 new veterinary centres and upgrading the existing 150 veterinary hospitals.

Police
Apart from four per cent increase in number of women in police department, the roadmap suggests giving annual budget of police stations directly to precincts. The direct dispensation of budget will start from 13 model police stations.
The roadmap proposes increasing investigation expenses of a case to Rs20,000.
Five-year police reforms roadmap leads to setting up seven special training schools to train 18,000 policemen annually.
Other targets set in the roadmap include ensuring that every woman in the province has the right to get a national identity card, taking parents opinion on performance of teachers and pasting the ratings of schools on gates.
In municipal sector, the roadmap suggests establishing 3,500 village and neighbourhood councils which will work as basic unit of municipality system.
The system will work through authority of council members comprising 4,000 women and 4,000 men.
At least 30 per cent of annual development programme will be designated for municipal institutions and this practice will be followed for the merged tribal areas as well. The roadmap suggests forming 700 village and neighbourhood councils through documented municipality system in the merged areas.
At least 120 mayors will be elected on party basis through elections.
