The suspect, who has been identified as Asad, would blackmail women by threatened to post their videos and images on popular social media platforms.
According to authorities, Asad had made a fake Facebook profile and had extorted one of his victims of more than Rs600,000.

The FIA nabbed the suspect in a raid on his residence in the port city on the complaint of one of his victims.
Multiple fake Facebook profiles as well as compromising photos and videos of his victims were also found during the initial investigation.
A case has now been registered against the suspect under the cyber-crime laws.
Earlier this year, the FIA had arrested a man for blackmailing girls after befriending them on Facebook.
According to a resident of Lahore’s Iqbal Town, she became friend with a man named Zubair on Facebook and he saved photos and videos of her and doctored them to make them obscene.
