“Rs600 million has been approved for the ongoing Kharan-Yakmach link road,” said the BNP-M leader, adding that he had proposed a road which would link Panjgur, Mashkail and Nokundi.
“Installation of liquefied petroleum gas plants, 10,000 electricity poles and construction of water supply schemes in Dalbandin and Kharan are also under consideration,” Notezai added.
He further said that Nokundi-Taftan Road would be widened and improved at a cost of Rs250 million, adding that several deprived areas of Chaghi, Nushki and Kharan would be provided mobile network coverage and a branch of National Bank would be established in Chaghi.
BNP-M vows end to sale of resources
Notezai has criticised alleged political-based transfers and postings of government employees in Chaghi district, expressing displeasure over the attitude of the provincial finance minister.
He alleged that the administrative system had been paralysed as the deputy commissioner was absent from his seat, while Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildar had not been posted in several areas of Chaghi.
He said he had written a letter to Balochistan Chief Secretary Akhtar Nazir in this regard. “If the chief secretary does not pay heed to our concerns we will be compelled to take to the roads and lodge our protest,” Notezai warned.
