MONTREAL: Mexican driver Sergio Perez was given the green light to race in tomorrow’s Canadian Formula One Grand Prix after passing a medical examination test. The rookie missed the May 29 Monaco Grand Prix after crashing heavily into the barriers at the tunnel exit in the final qualifying session and being taken to hospital with bruises and concussion. The governing body, however, said in a statement that Perez had been passed fit. “I just went to do the examination and all the tests again with the FIA, and everything was fine,” said Perez.
