Likewise, one Pakistani girl has now created a mashup that is sure to please you.

Originally hailing from Hunza, Samira Hafeez is a 24-year-old operations executive who has been living in the UAE for the past eight years. She recently shared a mashup that she sang of Asim Azhar's latest song Jo Tu Na Mila and Selena Gomez's famous track The Heart Wants What It Wants. Needless to say, the 24-year-old does a stupendous job to both.

Hafeez kicks off her cover by crooning to Jo Tu Na Mila and eventually combines it with Gomez's track, which gives you goosebumps as soon as the lyrics come to "The bed's getting cold." And if her mashup was amazing, imagine what it would sound like if she sang it with Azhar? So hey Asim, if you're reading this, check it out!
This is not the only song Hafeez has covered. She earlier sang Azhar and Momina Mustehsan's Coke Studio hit Tera Woh Pyar and Perfect by Ed Sheeran, which she aced as well. And how many of us would dare to cover Despacito? Because this girl did.

"I used to participate in naat mehfils and national anthem performances as a child. My teachers would ask me to go and teach tunes to the other children," she said. "I was also a part of a music choir and then performed in various talent shows in my university."
Talking about how she got herself to learn the guitar, Hafeez stated, "I've been passionate about music since a very long time. I would find acoustic karaoke of songs and sing to those. But I wanted to learn more about music so my parents got me a guitar as a birthday present in 2014."
PHOTO: SAMIRA HAFEEZFor the next six months, Hafeez tried to learn how to play the guitar herself as she didn't have time to join classes. "YouTube tutorials never helped me but then I finally got a little knowledge of basic chords," she recalled. "Later, I found a tutorial of Taylor Swift's Our Song and realised that it was much more fun and easy to learn through songs I love. I'm not an expert but music that I can relate to makes me feel at peace and takes me to my own dream world."

Hafeez, whose favourite singers include Demi Lovato, Bruno Mars, Zayn Malik, Shuja Haider and Aima Baig, would love to take up singing professionally. She concluded, "If I get a chance, I would love to travel across the world and show Pakistan in a positive light. I'd also enjoy performing at NGOs for the elderly or orphans."
