The Sindh government on Tuesday decided to allot cabin shops to shopkeepers affected by the recent anti-encroachment drive in the Empress Market area of Saddar, reported Express News.
The new shops will be installed around the market area and the provincial government's adviser Murtaza Wahab said small size cabins will be designed for the purpose. He added that a double-decker bus will also ply in the surrounding area.

Wahab added that "park and monuments will be built in adjoining areas of Empress Market". He further said fences will be installed to immediately secure the evacuated land adjoining Empress market.
Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has also notified the concerned departments to prepare alternative plans for the use of recovered land.
